The customer was suffering low productivity and gaps in compliance relating to management of operational risks within a cumbersome and sometimes unstable Excel solution. The spreadsheet approach was overly complex, encouraged duplication and discouraged user adoption.
Configatek redesigned the risk management solution as a cross-device, data-driven application suitable to address usage across multiple sites using PowerApps, Flow and SharePoint lists. This platform approach was achieved using existing Office 365 licencing and features, and significantly reduced management overhead whilst simplifying process and improving user experience.
The customer was able to dramatically improve participation in risk management activities across business areas and regions, improve their compliance and provide increased visibility and accuracy of risk data to management. These improvements better support reduction of the organisational risk profile.
